The 6/7 class have been continuing with their John Muir Awards and have been doing even more activities in order to achieve more on the subject. They have been recording everything they have been doing, as proof. And on 13th April 2016, the class went on a 4.3 mile walk from the school to the commando memorial. They discovered frog spawn, heather, GeoCashes, and lots more wildlife. Also, on the 4th May Jen and Ali came in to help the class with their screen printing. The designs the class made were made into stencils and then came the fun part! The actual printing!
Next week, on Thursday 12th May, The class will be going on a trip to Glen Nevis to visit the Outlandia tree house with Jen and Ali. The class will be pond dipping, and will be examining everything they see.
Also, the P7`s will be visiting the High School for an hour on 13th May, and will be going on the Edinburgh Trip on 22-24th June.
The P6/7 class have been and will be having a very busy term and will be working very hard on all transitions for the P7`s so it will definitely be a big jumble this term.

The P6/7 class have just finished their Bombs and Blackberries play, and are now starting on The Sorcerer`s Apprentice.
The class have started their new Science topic, which is Biodiversity (also known as plants and animals). They have been studying it for the last 1-2 weeks and they have already learned a lot.
Ms. Brown has taught the class a couple new multiplication strategies, including grid multiplication, formal multiplication, and Napier`s Bones. They have found these very helpful and interesting.
