Come along on Friday the 20th of January and join in with a fun family evening of games and tasty treats. All funds raised will go to the Spean Bridge PTA.
On Friday the 29th of May, Spean Bridge Primary had our Annual Fun Night to raise Funds to support all of the excellent work that happens throughout the year. Thank you to all of the children, teachers, staff members and parents that made it happen and thank you to all that attended and help us raise £2370!
The p5/6 has done an assembly on friendship and being a good friend. They included a play on an April fools trick gone wrong and some tips and tricks on how to be a good friend. The class did a fantastic job on performing their recipes for friendship and their tips on how to be a good friend! P5/6 really enjoyed doing the assembly and they even got certificates for their assembly.
The P6/7 class have been concentrating on their John Muir Awards a lot lately. They have had a ranger visit them two weeks ago, on Tuesday 20th January, and had a really enjoyable time looking and learning for signs of spring. And Ms Brown just confirmed that they will be having another visit on the 10th February from Mrs Austin, Fiona Austin’s mother.
On Tuesday 29th January, Ms Brown took the class outside onto the pitch, to find inspiration for their weather poems. The class had a lot of fun because they were allowed to make an igloo with the snow. They have started filling in their John Muir Award booklets, and have been continuing every week.

Pancake Tuesday at Spean Bridge Primary School
February 9th was Pancake Tuesday at Spean Bridge Primary. Miss Reid, Freddie Bridges, Innes Whyte, Lotti Papp, Maja Papp, Lacey Campbell, Finlay Reid, and Ryan MacDonald made this year’s pancakes. They made 16 big pancakes in total; 3 of them were chocolate, 1 was chocolate orange, 2 were orange, and 10 were plain. They filled them with orange juice, cocoa powder, cane sugar, or chocolate chips. Then they cut the pancakes up into small pieces, to make 96 small pancakes. Afterwards, Freddie, Maja, and Lacey delivered 16 of them to the
P1 class and 23 of them to P3/4.
Here are what some of the P1`s said;
Jay said, “I really enjoyed them!”
Samar thought, “Plain was the best!”
Livia shouted, “I loved the chocolate!”
“Chocolate, chocolate, CHOCOLATE!!!” yelled Kenzie.
But the best quote was from Ms. Brown:
“Really sweet light and fluffy.”
They really enjoyed making them and thought that they tasted amazing!
